A few pictures of Bree from yesterday and today.

Apologies to those nervous of spiders, but heavily tagged for those that want to avoid them. I saw this spider on a web suspended between the ground and a car that doesn’t get used. When I’d set the camera up, the spider went dashing for cover against the passenger side rear view mirror. I gave a gentle nudge to the back leg, and the spider went running for the middle of the web again. This is in the evening, using a tripod. It was almost too dark for the shot, but thankfully the spider was cooperating by staying still once I was actually taking the pictures. This is one of those black and yellow spiders that usually don’t go far from their web once they are in place, though the light levels sort of darkened the yellow portions.
